Nico Miller
Mechanical Engineer — Hardware, Manufacturing & Structures
I build the systems inside things that have to survive the real world — composite structures pushed to failure, CNC-machined assemblies held to tenths, and flight controllers tuned frame by frame. Finishing my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State, graduating May 2027.

Experience
Fabricate and structurally test composite laminates and panels, correlating layup process variables with mechanical performance and failure behavior.
Supported new product development for conveyor subsystems, moving concepts from CAD through prototype builds and design-for-manufacture review.
Applied precision CNC machining and metrology in support of applied research and industry-facing engineering projects.
Designed, machined, and track-tested aero and powertrain components for the team’s competition car, balancing performance against manufacturability.
DESIGNED, BUILT, TESTED
Selected Work
A mix of composites, machined parts, and control systems — some raced, some tested to failure, some just built for the fun of it.
Each one moved through the same loop: model it, build it, break it if needed, and figure out what the data says.
